TRITIUM
Determination of tritium for radiological characterization of materials, environmental monitoring and conservation and protection of cultural heritage is performed by liquid scintillation, with high sensitivity for detection in environmental matrices, particularly water.
RADON
Monitoring radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas of geological origin, in air and water is of primary importance for assessing radiological risk in indoor environments and water resources. ISOCORE is equipped to measure radon concentrations in air and water using dedicated, highly sensitive and reliable instrumentation, in compliance with current national and European regulations.
Integrative in-air measurements lasting weeks and months, as well as active measurements to obtain a temporal trend, are performed to assess integrated concentration and temporal trends for the radiological characterization of environments and the definition of mitigation and prevention strategies in the healthcare, environmental, and civil sectors.
